Sitting here at the computer, procrastinating. My house is a big mess and only a few hours before C gets home. Worrying a bit about the kids. Tried to get in touch with their father to see how they are doing and he won’t return my phone calls. Also developing what feels like a virus or sinus infection. All in all, though, I’m blessed. I just miss the kiddos.

I’ve decided to really ask God to help me get back to a healthier body. I’m not going to eat after 7:30PM, and I’m cutting way down on sugary drinks and trying to drink alot more water. I’m going to focus on eating more whole foods and less processed junk. … I’ve been thinking about this for a while, but yesterday sealed the deal when I saw myself in a bunch of mirrors trying on clothes…man, that will do it!

Miracles do happen. I am humbled by God’s response to my prayers. Overwhelmed. I will write a blog and tell you all about it as soon as I can. All I can say, is that He is so Good and I praise Him and thank Him for loving little ol’ me.

my plans for getting out of the house have been foiled by a little grouchy man who didn’t want to change his diaper or put on clothes. After a long battle, and finally a diaper, but no clothes, he’s out for a nap. B and I went outside for a swing and to the mailbox but that is it for our adventures so far. B just brought me flowers. What a sweetheart!

I have all the blinds open and a couple of windows letting fresh air in. We are going to finally get out of this house after three days of illness! Yay! I love love love spring! I’m going to Rural King today to see the chicks (wish we could get some), and buy some gardening equipment. I need a shovel, hoe,and rake of my very own. We are also going to the PO to mail some books for Paperbackswap.com . Y’all should seriously check this out if you are a book lover. I also have a package for AW in Afghanistan. He is getting Easter goodies, that devotional I mentioned in my blog, and a worship CD.
Anyway, I love this weather! I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I’m definitely coming to church tonight so maybe I’ll see ya there!

Getting ready to take my shower of the day at 11:45 am. Two of the three kids have the flu so we have cabin fever bad over here. I did get a chance to get them some movies to watch, but we are tired of watching movies.
Feeling some worry and anxiety over the Letter that went out to children’s father this week regarding custody. He probably will get it today, if he hasn’t already. Sitting on the edge of my seat about this. Praying it will all go well.

I spent the night at my friend G’s house last night (she just got back from Norway) and what a great hostess she is…. we had yummy chickpeas, quinoa, and chicken with peppers for dinner, then these little crispy cone things that she made in Norway with homemade whipped cream and raspberries. Then this morning we had pancakes and sausage, then snow cream later in the day, not to mention the hot chocolate made from real cocoa and cream…unbelievable. We also went sledding today and I cannot tell you how exhilirating it was for me. I haven’t played like that in a long time and it literally took my breath away. It was truly a pleasurable day. Now am at home cleaning, preparing for my children to return to me. I love and miss them so much and wish they could have been with me.. Is this too long a post for What Ya Doin’? Love y’all

Sittin’ here with an Easy Bake Oven on my lap for daughter B’s birthday. I just found it on the back porch when rolling my trash out at 11:30 PM! Otherwise I’m totally vegging out on blogs and emails. I finished my crochet project for B’s birthday as well. I haven’t gotten that much satisfaction out of a project in so long, perhaps because I’ve had a problem finishing what I start. No more of that though. New life… So far B is getting an Easy Bake Oven, a new purple crochet purse, and a very nice hula hoop. She’s getting good gifts for her fifth b-day.

Then my children’s father called and he’s bringing the littlest one to me, yay! I’ll have the other two in the morning before church, yay again! Then I went outside to check the mail and I had one letter in there from a fellow Sunday School member who is in Afghanistan right now. Wow, it was touching and I will share it in Sunday School tomorrow. Thank you Father! You really deliver in times of need!

My phone rang. It was a dear friend who didn’t even know how badly I needed a call, and she also needed someone so we talked for over an hour on the phone. Truly a blessing. Then I sat on the couch for a minute and picked up my wooden flute and tried to “pick out” or “flute out” =) Amazing Grace. I got it. It’s not that great and I stumble but I got it! Then I turned the tv on and guess what was on… It was I think Hour of Prayer or some show like that on the Christian network and this wonderful singer had just started singing Amazing Grace…. I kid you not. God is at work in me, I just hope I get what he’s trying to show me.

Just sittin’ here getting up to date on blogs. Had a rough day at work, then my phone situation is still unresolved (broken screen, thus no phone numbers or way of knowing who has tried to reach me), had a come-apart in Wal-mart parking lot, wanted to call some of you, but alas…no numbers in my phone… felt better after having a good hard cry in the car, almost like having walked in the rain… then did my shopping put groceries away, now to get to work on straightening up my house…then working on Bible study… need God right now, don’t know why I’m so down lately, going to take Stacey up on her offer for a crochet date but can’t call to tell you Stacey because I don’t have your number right now….eeeeeaaaaarrrggghhhhh…..I’m sure things will be on the upswing again, soon

Okay, I guess I’m doing this right. I just put littlest one down for morning nap and I have a million things I could be doing. What am I going to do first… I don’t know.. maybe work on the toyroom and get it kind of straightened up, then dishes. This is why I have a hard time getting my house cleaned. My mind is as cluttered as my house!
